VOCAL MUSIC

We also teach you the basics of music in the Carnatic style. We teach you how to embellish your singing with 'gamakas'.

The objective of our teaching is to make you a performing singer and/or and instrumentalist. After some lessons, you will be able to apply the techniques you learn for any song, even if you have heard the song for the first time.

STUDIO RECORDING

You will also have the opportunity to learn how to sing using a microphone and also how to sing in a studio. Most recordings are done either with a backing track or with a 'click' track. When you are done with this session, you will be able to sing in any studio, in any part of the world. So, when you get the opportunity to make an album or record your song, you will not be nervous or tentative in your performance. You will be able to give it your very best!

GUITAR

We teach you to play the guitar; both melody and chords. Our specialty is that we teach you to play popular Indian film songs on the guitar.

We also teach you chords for Indian popular film songs. With a knowledge of chords, you can accompany yourself or another singer.

You can choose to learn to play either by reading Western Staff notation or by guitar tabs.

We teach you to sing light music (film songs in most languages) and non-film music (bhajans)

From time to time, we conduct shows where our students get a chance to showcase their talents.

Every student gets an opportunity to record his or her songs on a commercial quality CD.
